YUFA is governed by a Constitution (2017, Amended) and Bylaws (December 2020, Amended). For meetings and matters not otherwise stipulated in the Constitution or Bylaws, the Association follows Bourinot's Rules of Order (Article 3.4 of the Constitution).
In addition, from time to time, different bodies of the Association have approved additional Policies and Guidelines. The Bylaws of the Association are enacted and amended by the Executive (Article 5.1 of the Constitution) and approved by Stewards' Council (Article 4.3 of the Constitution). Changes to the Constitution may be made by a two-thirds majority of the membership (Article 11).
